Tech Crunch reports that of those 2 billion active users, 66 percent use the platform daily. This means that over 1 billion people are on Facebook each and every day. As of September 25, 2017, Instagram had reached 800 million active users. The company reports to have 500 million active daily users. Not only is Instagram's userbase rapidly growing, (100 million new users in just six months) but its advertising base has grown to 2 million.
